Thanks Jade! WTH is up with JS? This one made me a little . Interesting that "CBS all but officially concedes was a mistake" re: cancellation. Of course I agree, but I haven't read anything to indicate that, so I would assume it's word-of-mouth?

Sort of an interesting question. What if Nina came out and said "You know, we should have let that go one more year", what would be your reaction?

I agree about Joel Silver. He's got a rep as a loose cannon, and it's evidently well earned. As far as CBS admitting they made a mistake in canceling Moonlight, I think we're safe in assuming that they'll never officially admit it. And it looks more and more like JS could've been the "brains" behind that, too. But we'll never know. I'm just gonna move on...

What's even more unsettling about the JS call is what Suz said about him doing the same thing to Jason re: Veronica Mars.

I think JS is a guy who is trying to cover all bases, and keep as many options open as possible. But it does seem a little callous.

It's like Moonlight was Alex's first love. He'll never forget her and he'll always love her. I thought this interview was terrific...just because of those few revealing musings about Moonlight from him.

Reminded that Sci Fi now airs "Moonlight" reruns in the same Friday time slot in which it originally aired, he said, "I still haven't been paid for it -- I think I'm still owed a residual for that."

I know, Lucky... sounds so unbelievable, not to mention cruel and irksome... but I am soooo glad Alex has now met and worked with other producers and directors... get him away from The Silver!

I get the feeling that perhaps Mr. Silver is a big talker--and hoped to get an ML movie made. I also remember an interview with Jason Dohring, before ML wasn't renewed, where he said that Mr. Silver told him not to make any other work arrangements, because he felt that ML would get picked up for season 2. Or maybe he was just overly optimistic?
Who knows.
