OMG AMY! You never cease to amaze me how these treasures find you. I'm almost shaking with emotion and tears as I never thought I'd ever see anything new left of our beloved Moonlight.
I'm happy and sad all at the same time.
How on earth did you discover this?
I'm so glad you did and I'm beside myself with anticipation to see my beloved Mick moving a new on my screen once again
This deserves it's own thread.

Is this from one of the dailies DVDs!?
It's amazing, and I agree with Pgal that they should have used this scene!! OMG, it looks wonderful, and does so much to portray Mick's changed state!
Thank you for sharing these stills with us!

Wow!! this is fabulous....so much more than just touching his face and saying 'Still human'.
If you can't find a way to post the video, is there any audio that goes with it that you can tell us about?
Thanks so much for sharing this.

What a wonderful scene, Shadow! Hope you can make it available.
It strikes me that he's getting ready to go to Josh's funeral because of the eye being bloody.

Struck me the same. Like he went upstairs to change and get ready for the funeral. We know he didn't have a bed and slept on the couch but his clothing would have been upstairs. Maybe one last look in the mirror?r1015bill wrote:What a wonderful scene, Shadow! Hope you can make it available.![]()

Can't know for sure without knowing what is being said (Mick's VO)
God he's beautiful...even all bruised, cut and hurting. I can't stop looking at these pics...Thank you so much Amy

Re: All About Mick, #29
I found this scene on a dailies DVD . . . had no idea that THIS was going to be on there!
There are two takes of the medium shots and one take of the close ups. There's not any audio, aside from ambient sounds like Mick's footsteps and the rustle of fabric of his shirt; no voice-over either. I expect this was meant to be used just with music, much like the other mirror shot. There probably was supposed to be a voice-over to go along with it, but they don't seem to bother with having someone offscreen say it in the long sections like this with no dialog -- I'm guessing they only do that to make sure they've allowed enough time for a voice-over when there is also dialog in the scene. This DVD also has footage of Mick coming into the apartment and going into the kitchen to draw his blood, and the voice-overs don't show up there either. (Just someone saying "reset" whenever he needed to change out which syringe he was using.)
I do think he was getting ready to go to the funeral here -- the shirt looks the same, and when he comes down the stairs he's carrying his jacket; he puts it down before going to look in the mirror. (And is it just me, or are the little mirrors in an odd place?) My favorite part of this, in spite of all the other goodness, is the way he lifts up the bandage on his arm to look at that original cut, where it all started. It feels so significant. I could just imagine him being particularly awestruck by that -- (and I especially loved it because I had once put that moment in a story!)
I'll definitely be able to post the video of this -- I'm hoping to have time to get a Rapidshare link posted when I get home from work. And possibly I'll find a way to put it up on Youtube as well. I was so captivated by this scene, wondering what it would have looked like if they'd actually used it, that I sat down and did a little editing with it.
So I'll put up both the dailies scene and an edited version using the music from the other mirror scene. I have some other dailies I'd like to share, too . . . everything on this DVD is pretty awesome!

Amy, thank you so much!
I think the video of this scene (edited and plain) definitely deserves a link of its own, so please do create a new thread when you have the links ready to share.

Mick says: "You know, you are just too good to be real, Shadow!"
Am waiting for your vid to download now, but had to visit the Mick thread to tide me over.
A few of my faves... starting with another boo boo pic.

My PB is acting a little wonky, so I hope these load okay. I think it's punishing me for inactivity.
